Vanessa Soto
Hello my name is Vanessa Soto. I have been working in a Preschool setting since 2005. I have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood and I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Early Childhood. I have a true passion for what I do and would not trade it for anything in the world. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the children in our Preschool learn and grow to become productive little citizens in society.  My expertise and unique style of teaching will provide a curriculum that encompasses elements of whole language and phonics instruction, mathematics, science/social studies, as well as whole group, small group, and cooperative group activities. I look forward in working with you and your child(ren) along with our teachers and to provide a top-notch education.

        1. Raised in Miami, with family from Mexico and Colombia, there have been a lot of cultural values that have been instilled in me regarding children, most important one however, is to be compassionate and show each one love. Becoming a new mom has truly changed many things in my life. Before our baby there wasn’t a passion for teaching or children. I enjoyed babysitting in my teen years and working as an after school and summer camp counselor, but there was a passion that was missing. Now that I have a child of my own I understand the need for that safe feeling when leaving your child at a child care center. I am currently studying to complete my Bachelor’s in Biology with aspirations to become a doctor, which has now formed a path into specializing in pediatrics. Teaching young children and understanding their development has now turned into my number one priority. All children are great, you just have to get to know each one as an individual, and it’s amazing that such little people can have such big personalities.

        1. I was born and raised in Arkansas and moved to Miami in my late teens. Being Cuban I moved to Miami. The fact that there is no quality childcare in the area has really driven me to start this adventure of building a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow. I love children and plan to have my own in the near future. In my spare time, I love any form of physical activity, rollerblading, swimming, bike riding, and jogging. I love music and dance; I feel that a great way for children to learn is through song and movement. Currently attending school to complete my Bachelor's degree in Science, and with a background in the Medical field, I feel that a change is in order and that my true passion is children and being a part in their growth and development, but most importantly keeping them safe.

      1. Little Executives Preschool strives to provide a stimulating and educational experience which will promote each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to prepare our students for the future by treating them as individuals to help them grow to be independent, creative and self-confident. Creating an environment that will give a variance of experiences through art, music, math, reading and exercise, with a multi-lingual enrichment. Emphasizing on a hands-on approach, that is fundamental in the early ages of development. Our commitment is focused on our children as much as our parents and we provide support and encouragement to assist those who desire for their children to be functional life-long learners.

Parents Role
A parent's role is to support their child's academic growth. Support the schools and be pro-active in their child's education. Express concerns with the teacher. Be a partner in the schools. Know your child's academic strengths & weaknesses so you the parent can work with your child on the skills they are lacking.

      1. A positive home environment instills a value to education as opposed to just learning in school only. A parent knows their child best and can practice different learning styles that the teacher doesn't see in the classroom. Establishing healthy relationships is a crucial part of child development. If parents can foster healthy relationships among themselves and their children they are likely to continue developing healthy relationships among themselves and others.
